Jane is a PhD-trained sexuality educator with a wealth of information available on sexual health for seniors. She is candid and frank and willing to talk about your issues. All consultations are confidential and private.

Sexuality and Aging: Rediscovery Later in Life is an essential course Jane teaches with two of her wonderful colleagues, Dr. Sabitha Pillai-Friedman and Dr. Gretchen Frey, designed specifically for The Buehler Institute.
This exciting course is for therapists, educators, and clinicians at all levels of expertise. The distinct perspectives of the 3 presenters (sex educator, sex therapist, medical doctor) allows participants to thoroughly explore the nature of sexual expression in older adults. While common challenges will be addressed, the presentation is sex positive, pleasure oriented and emphasizes solutions and resources for both clients and care professionals.
Learners can expect to come away with a detailed understanding of the biological, psychological, and social factors influencing healthy sexuality in older adults, as well as some helpful exercises and resources for working with this population. The format features presentations and interactive segments, including activities and tons of resources.

This course addresses the impacts of aging on sexuality, the sexual challenges of chronic illness and the possibility of pleasure for older adults. She emphasizes the application of successful strategies you can use when working with an aging population.
